With samlors (bicycle rickshaws), a small local long-tail boat and on foot, discover hidden corners of Ayutthaya that most visitors miss: its local, temples and a small a museum and one of the old city’s most important traditional markets.
Meet at our office at 09.00 and take a samlor to Changkasem National Museum. After exploring the museum and learning something about Ayutthaya’s history, walk to the pier and take a small long-tail boat around Ayutthaya and enjoy the many historic sights along the way.
Make stops at a local handicraft house where, using palm leaves, the family make replicas of the fish that is the symbol of Ayutthaya and afterwards at Wat Choeng Tha, famous for its mural which has recently been restored following the floods in 2012. Finish the boat trip at Ko Loy, a small island in Pasak River. Take a walk around the island to see the temples, Wat Kae, and Wat Monthop.
Have lunch at a restaurant in a traditional family house that has been the home for four generations of the proprietor’s family. Cross by local ferry back to mainland to explore Hua Ro Market.
Afterwards, after all the walking, enjoy a relaxing foot massage given by blind masseuses. We will then drop you off back at our office or your hotel.

Be comfortable! Be sure to wear clothes that are suitable for the activity you are participating in. If you are cycling, wear comfortable shoes, long sleeve top, and a pair of shorts or trousers. If you are visiting temples, please be respectful of the local culture and wear suitable clothing, such as long sleeves and long trousers or skirts. In case you prefer to wear short, simply bring a Sarong, which always fits in a your bag.

Solo travellers should enquire directly with ABT Journey’s was to whether the tour will be available to you on your desired day of travel. If your desired tour is already scheduled for you preferred day of departure, then it may be possible for you to join the tour as a solo traveller.
If you cancel your reservation 15 days or more prior to arrival date, a full refund will be given. Cancellation between 14-7 business days before your departure date, a 60% refund will be given (not including Sat, Sun & Public Holidays). However, if you cancel your reservation within less than 7 business days before your departure date, no refund will be given.
